Hello lovelies!
So, Iām excited to say that Iām signing up for the PokĆ©mon Indigo League #ReadThemAllThon read-a-thon happening this August 14 through September 4! The read-a-thon is hosted by Aentee @ ReadAtMidnight. If you want to sign up as well, check out her sign-up post here.
Iām hoping this readathon challenge will help me tackle a bit of my TBR. Iām trying my best to focus on reading books I own versus buying more books or borrowing from the library. So all these books will be books I currently own. š
But First, Pokémon!
My Chosen Pokémon

Eevee is just too adorable! I couldnāt not pick her as myĀ PokĆ©mon of choice š Iām just going to have to figure out which evolution Iām going to want to go with when the time comes. Thatās going to be the real hard decision haha.
TBR Choices + Gym Challenges
For this gym challenge Iām going to readĀ Falling KingdomsĀ by
Morgan Rhodes. I bought this book earlier this year after hearing that this series was a great fantasy series. So Iām hoping to dig into this one and start off another great series read š
Summary on GoodReadsĀ |Ā 412 pages | potential +41 CP

A book that might me cry will probably beĀ It Ends With UsĀ by Colleen Hoover. I have to be honest and say that I havenāt read any of Colleen Hooverās books yet (I know! I know! Reader fail haha). I do however own this gem as well as her bookĀ Confess. So this might be the perfect time to delve into Hooverās writing and become the fan I know I will be of her books š
Summary on GoodReadsĀ | 362 pages | potential +36 CP

There were a few options for this one, but Iām planning on readingĀ The Unexpected EverythingĀ by Morgan Matson. Again, book confession time: I havenāt read anything by Matson yet either. YA contemporary was never really my genre of choice. I tend to drift towards Fantasy/Paranormal/SciFi books, so Iām working on catching up in the contemporary area. So fingers crossed Iāll enjoy this one š
Summary onĀ GoodReadsĀ | 528 pages | potential +52 CP

So for this challenge I actually have two books in mind. Iām not sure which one Iāll get to or if Iāll just read both and count the one with the most CP haha. But Iām hoping to readĀ Everything, EverythingĀ by Nicola Yoon andĀ HomegoingĀ by Yaa Gyasi. Iāve had an ARC ofĀ Everything, Everything sitting on my shelf since BEA last year (*cringes at that*), but for some reason I never picked it up. So Iām planning on rectifying that before her new release hits shelves.
ForĀ Homegoing, I saw it around on the Bookstagram community & heard such great things about it that when I saw it in the bookstore last week I picked it up. Just reading the description of the book, I know that itās going to be a heavy one so Iām hoping to read it along withĀ Everything, EverythingĀ to give my emotions some rest. But weāll see. I might just read it straight through and then recover by readingĀ Everything, EverythingĀ haha.
Yoon:Ā Summary on GoodReadsĀ | 310 pages | potential +31 CP
Gyashi:Ā Summary on GoodReads | 305 pages | potential +30 CP

For this badge, I thought Iād chooseĀ FanGirlĀ and finally get around to reading it and reading one of Rainbow Rowellās books. Iām not sure how epic of a romance this story is but I know so many people love this story and I finally want to sit down and read it! Iām sure my love for it will count as an epic romance, right?
Summary on GoodReads |Ā 455 pages | potential +45 CP

I might be cheating on this one, but Iām hoping to readĀ The Lightning ThiefĀ by Rick Riordan. I havenāt read this MG series yet and I desperately want to! So Iām hoping the mythology part of this book counts as Fantasy/Supernatural š
Summary on GoodReadsĀ | 377 pages | potential +37 CP

For this one I choseĀ EligibleĀ by Curtis Sittenfeld. This modern retelling ofĀ Pride & PrejudiceĀ is right up my ally since I loveĀ Pride & Prejudice. IĀ enjoy reading modern adaptations and Iāve seen this one floating around the book community. I canāt wait to see how this adaptation will play out and Iām interested to see how Iāll like it compared to other adaptations Iāve read š
Summary on GoodReadsĀ | 492 pages | potential +49 CP
Ā

Iām not the biggest fan of dystopian, but Iāve chosen to read Delirium by Lauren Oliver. Iām a fan of Oliverās writing so Iām interested to see how this trilogy plays out.
Summary on GoodReads | 441 pages | potential +44 CP
So thereās my TBR for the upcoming read-a-thon! I pulled most of the page numbers from what GoodReads listed, so there might be some changes come actual reading time. Iām so excited to read all these though and canāt wait to see my Eevee gain more CPs & evolve!
Let me know if youāve read any of these, what youāre planning on reading, and whatĀ PokĆ©mon you picked! I cannot wait to join along with everyone in this #ReadThemAllThon!Ā
Happy Battling!
Happy Reading!
