Turning It All Around.

Hey everyone!

Lately I’ve been having a rough time of it emotionally. Things lately just haven’t been going my way. But, I’m determined to take some cues from a few a favorite places (IndieChicks, Emma Approved, GetGutsy) and turn my mood and life around. 

This blog has been a creative outlet of mine and I’m hoping to reinvigorate my passion for it. I kept using a lot of excuses like having no time or being distracted by “life.” And while I admit that life is still distracting me, I can’t let it interfere as often as it has in the past. This blog is important to me and it has taken me up until now to realize how much I’m proud of this blog. I know it has A LOT more things to accomplish and I have to dedicate A LOT more time to it in order to see it grow, but for now I really love my blog. I never though that I’d have authors reaching out for reviews or being allowed to participate in some awesome blog tours. These are all dreams that I didn’t know I could achieve with my “wallflower” blog. But I did achieve them. Now I just have to cling to that and bring it with me during those late nights or early morning when I’m screaming “Just five more minutes, Mom!” I seriously have to kick my ass into action. 

But I don’t want to do this all just for me. I want to do it for the readers I have and for my future readers. You guys are my audience. You guys are the ones who make writing this blog more than just a hobby for me. I want to share my love of reading, of the books I come in contact with to everyone who happens to stop by. Being able to bond over Jennifer L. Armentrout, Brigid Kemmener, J.K. Rowling, Marissa Meyer, etc. is what I LIVE for. Like literally. LOL. I’m obsessed with reading and being able to share this with others who actually GET IT, is amazing! So I’m turning it around for that feeling; for your love of reading; for the ability to share our passions and obsessions together. So bring on the book memes and book feels and everything book-related in between! 

I’m ready to read. I’m ready to write. I’m ready to get personal 🙂
